Ince Blundell Village Hall
Despite a positive Annual General Meeting in July with the recruitment of some new committee members and a Trustee the Village Hall now unfortunately faces a major crisis.
Over the last couple of weeks there have been a number of key resignations from the management committee. This combined with having no secretary, and severe financial problems, has made the running of the Hall unsustainable. As such four of the present Trustees and remaining committee members have decided to stand down.
There will therefore be an Emergency General Meeting on Thursday the 13th of October at 7.30 in the Village Hall to discuss its future.
Quite simply If no new Trustees and management committee come forward the Village Hall will be handed over to the Charity Commission. Its assets will be sold and given to local Charities with similar objectives.
